Home Tour in Boca

Our condo in Boca is modern with an oriental twist. The white sectional is the focal point of the living room and it's a great place to take in the gorgeous oceanfront view.

The tropical home design is complete with animal decor ~ monkeys, birds and elephants!

I love the white washed furniture in the bedroom. It definitely has that beachy feeling to it. I painted the colorful tulips in watercolor to give the room a pop of color.

The Dining room design is light and airy with a

wonderful view of the Intracoastal waterway.

It's a beautiful day every day here!!

Florida Everglades Airboat Rides

We were extremely adventurous today and took an airboat ride through the Florida Everglades. Of course we needed to get fueled up for the day with an amazing oceanfront breakfast at an awesome diner by the pier.

While we wait for the boat tour, we get acquainted with the history of the Everglades up close and personal!

And yes, we saw alligators just laying out in the sun... blue herons as well as leather ferns, cattails, sawgrass, and the Primrose willow trees {which contain salicin, a key ingredient in Bayer aspirin}.

We all enjoyed our adventure, and home to the pool for the afternoon!

The Salty Dog Cafe

If you have ever been to Hilton Head, I bet you have seen all the colorful t-shirts from the Salty Dog cafe in South Beach. Definitely put this fun outdoor cafe on your things to do list. It's right on the South Beach marina - and sometimes you can catch the fisherman coming in to clean the fish right there on the dock. The popular cafe has live entertainment 7 nights a week too! Chincoteague Island on the Eastern Shore

We are headed to Chincoteague this weekend for a little rest and relaxation.... I am excited to rent bikes and ride around Assateague Island where the wild ponies are. If you are not familiar with the Eastern Shore, it's a wonderful family vacation with a laid back attitude... Ahhh, just what I need.

Nantucket Summer Days

I am loving all the new items at Wisteria. They are perfect for those lazy Summer days. The red stools and red wire basket are so fun!

I lived on Nantucket for two summers and I really miss eating fresh lobster just about every night. Working at "The Lobster Trap" made that easy!

Remember the villa they filmed in the movie Ocean's Twelve? It is actually a 19th century Villa on the banks of Lake Como in Milan, Italy. Gorgeous right?
