I'm sure there must be only a handful of you who haven't heard about Lonny magazine. Not only dedicated to interior design but also gardens and fashion, and lots of interviews. I love that you can read the whole magazine online and that the images are so clear and excellent quality.

These images are from the October/November 2009 issue and show former Domino magazine Editor in Chief, Deborah Needleman's home and her passion for gardening and plants. Perfectly Imperfect

The Domino Book of Decorating continues to top the list of best selling home decorating books and I have no doubt that former editor in chief Deborah Needleman's new book will also be a big hit.  The Perfectly Imperfect Home: How to Decorate and Live Well is billed as "the must-have guide describing 80 items that are all one needs for a livable, comfortable, and undeniably stylish home."  It's too bad that we have to wait to buy the book illustrated by Virginia Johnson until November 1st.  Guess I'll have to make due with my back of issues of Domino magazine in the meantime.

A Rocker's Retreat

I forgot that Deborah Needleman's first Wall Street Journal Magazine was published yesterday.  Luckily for me and eveyone else who neglected to pick up the paper, you can read the articles online. One of my favorites is a look inside the London home of gentleman rocker Bryan Ferry.  He's always had an interest in interior design and has furnished his home himself with art and objects that he's collected.  I definitely recommend reading the entire story online as well as Charlotte Moss's article about Le Prieuré d’Orsan.  The issue is so good that I might have to go see if my newsstand has an extra copy lying around.
