Layer it On!

The more layers the better in my book... have an arm party, mix and match gold and silver, leathers and beads... pile on the scarves... layer it on.

For the home, decorate with different stripes and prints. I am dying over this art wall!

Hot trends: Layering rugs - all different colors, textures and patterns... how fun is that?

Apartment Therapy Roundup - Collections

Apartment Therapy featured More is More: Making Interesting Collections of Multiples yesterday and included one of my favorite photos from my colors of a rainbow post.

The sunlight pouring in and reflecting on the different colored bottles brings me

inspiration for the day.

Happy Friday! In case you missed it ~ be sure to sign up for info on my ebook coming soon, and enter the book giveaway if you have not already done so. Most of all, have a bright bold and beautiful weekend...

Home Storage Ideas

If you do not have built in cabinets, where do you store your stuff? In keeping with my Vintage theme for the day, I love these storage ideas from the archives.

Don't you just love the suitcase idea?

Apartment Therapy

Thank you Apartment Therapy for linking Bright, Bold, and Beautiful

in your post: Living Large in a Small Space.

On another note: We have walked the entire National Mall from the Washington Monument to the Capitol! Whew.... my feet are aching, and I am looking forward to a delicious dinner. Our trip ends tomorrow, but not before a visit

to IKEA on the way home :)

The Homies

Vote for Bright, Bold, and Beautiful here for the Homies award

presented by Apartment Therapy

Vote Early and Often!

I normally don't like to ask my readers to vote for Habitually Chic for anything but since every other blogger already has, I figured I might as well join in. Habitually Chic has been nominated on Apartment Therapy for The Homies 2009 in the Home Design category. If you'd like to give me a present this holiday season, please vote for Habitually Chic. Thanks!
