DJ is the Bold Vision behind Dustjacket Attic. I remember the first time I found DJ's glamorous blog. I must have spent hours staring at the beautiful photos, and I have visited every day since then with anticipation of the next post!

In her own words, "When putting together a post for my readers I focus on a set of characteristics that is difficult to explain - I may view fifty editorials and only one will be right in my eyes. I think it is a combination of skillful and interesting photography, great locations, excellent styling and if the model is right for the roll...and I love pieces with a sense of humour too. On top of her amazing taste, DJ is a delight to know. I am so thankful to have found her. Blogging is truly amazing, as it allows us to "get to know" others from all over the world. Did I mention that DJ lives in Australia? When am I coming to visit?

Rustic House in Spain

Friday takes us to Málaga in Spain to have a look at this 50 m2 guest house which belongs to an English family. Arches, beams, iron cast doors and lots of wood give it a warm rustic feel. Wouldn't mind being a guest here at all! And, if this is just the guest house then I'd love to see the main house as well!

Pay it Forward

Yesterday was Pay it Forward day, and I received a FedEx box at my door. I knew that I was not expecting any packages, so I was excited to see what was inside! Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston

I love myself a good fashion documentary and so of course I am dying to see Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston. It is premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival Friday night and you know there will be just as many stars and fashionistas in the crowd as there will be in the film. As Halston once exclaimed, "you're only as good as the people you dress," and he dressed all the best in the 1970's including Bianca Jagger, Liza Minelli, Elizabeth Taylor, and even Jackie Kennedy Onassis! I don't know how he managed to design anything with all the time he spent at Studio 54 but as he also said, "party hard, live hard, and have the best life." Unfortunately, all that hard partying caught up to him and cut short his reign as the Emperor of Style. Luckily, it looks like his legacy will live on in Ultrasuede. Bon Weekend!
