Arthur Elgort Exhibition

There is no better way to escape the dreary weather than to head to a museum or gallery.  I can't wait to visit the Stanley Wise Gallery soon to see the fabulous photographs of Arthur Elgort on display.  They range from the beginning of his career in 1970 to 2010.  Elgort has shot for some of the best fashion magazines so his subjects range from models and designers to even a few editors and other photographers.  Many of them are in motion or on the street instead of posed in a studio which "changed the face of fashion photography."  The best part is that they are also for sale!

Trench Warfare

Tomorrw is April 1st and you know what that means, April showers that will hopefully bring May flowers.  It's actually already raining in New York today so most likely everyone will be pulling out their trench coats.  I still love my Gryphon trench but it's looking a little old and my Burberry trench tends to make me look like Meryl Streep in Kramer vs. Kramer above.  It seems like it might be time for a little shopping so I'm looking to these lovely ladies for inspiration.  Find of funny that the five year is chicest one!  Enjoy!

Sponsor Spotlight & Discount: Kage on Irving

It may not feel like spring but that doesn't mean we can't shop for it!  I visited my friend Creations by Kage designer Kristin Holstein at her cute little shop Kage on Irving recently to check out the new bags.  I absolutely love the embroidered clutch and hobos and of course the trellis wallpaper in the store.  If you can't make it to the Kage on Irving, you can always shop online. Kristin has generously offered Habitually Chic readers a special 10% off with code habituallychic11.  Happy Shopping!
