Contemporary Minimalist House in Seattle Capitol Hill

This house became one of major works from Pb Elemental Architecture, located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill urban community, with all needs covered include living rooms, garages and green space. The outside wall of the house is seen as a minimalist architecture with clad in aluminum panels, white and black, accented with Cedar. Equipped with big windows and a transparent facing towards the road, in addition to providing access to a more open view towards the outside, the window glass is once again adding voyeuristic element to the house, which gives a more intimate view of the master suite and living room floor. That use transparent glass window also provides easy access to natural light into the interior.

This house is designed to apply the rain screen, because the basic principles of rain screen wall design is the most sophisticated methods of controlling rain penetration associated with water penetration, which basically makes a wall that breathes. With an effective barrier wall behind him, a rain screen applications can not only metal but also cedar cladding or other type of material. Seen at the residence of the Capital, we have used aluminum cladding with white and black, combined with cedar boards. Visit Pb Elemental Architecture for detailed information.
