A beautiful house surrounded by stone walls with charming, this is a project undertaken by James D. LaRue Architects. The house is located in the area of 12th fairway, a golf course west of Austin, has a building area that is steep. This further confirms the beauty of contemporary design with glass-walled living room overlooking the golf course area below. With steep slopes become an advantage to get the views of the hillside, more broadly, allowing for stunning views from almost every room in the house. With a low-pitched roof and horizontal lines are clean cause more unified structure with the surrounding environment.
The overall design of this house, with an area of 4722 square feet divided into three separate structures built building, with each having different functions of housing, but connected by bridges, breezeways and ‘street’. A steel cantilever bridge floated back into the stone, the impressive cave covered with a garden retaining wall concave below with wind chill continuously. Golf courses also became the center of attention that can be seen from every room. For the contemporary artistic exterior design, utilizing stone wall which looks very blend with the surrounding environment. The house is also equipped with a swimming pool, open kitchen, fireplace and several seating areas, outdoor living spaces blend naturally with the surrounding environment creating a modern yet warm appearance.
